Chris developed a passion for electronic music during the 80’s, having his head turned by the likes of Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode and Visage. His sister then introduced him to acid house and rave
before he was struck by the sounds of Mills, Hawtin and Slater, from a mixtape in ’93. It was nearly a year before he found out who the tracks were by, but once he had, the vinyls and decks were
bought and Chris began to mix. After becoming a resident of Vortex in Brighton, he started promoting his own ‘Future Beats’ parties whilst playing the occasional gig in London.
After years of spinning vinyl, Chris was very keen to get in to the studio and in 2005, he teamed up with Huw Jones (aka Matig) in Cardiff to produce Fragment EP, on Huw’s Native Collective
label. Back Trak EP followed in 2006 and the two releases were supported by the likes of Cari Lekebusch, The Advent and Steve Rachmad.
Having returned to his roots in Southampton, Chris returned to the studio and this led to his first solo release, 'Stone Town' EP on Alan Fitzpatrick’s 8 Sided Dice (ESD) label in September 2010.
The digital exclusive 'Werk It Out' was well supported by many of the best, including Adam Beyer. More ESD releases have followed including the successful remix collaboration with Rich Jones, to
rework 'First Times', a track produced by the mighty combination of Lekebusch and Fitzpatrick.
Since 2010, Chris solo tracks and remixes have regularly featured in Beatport charts with his most
recent offering, Wide Awake EP, being his most successful to date. He is now established as one of 8 Sided Dice’s main artists but also has releases out soon on two more labels, Decoy and GSR.
Chris is still using records when in the mix, and he now creates his underground techno sets using the combination of laptop and vinyl.

After Gayle San successfully running Equator Recordings for nearly 10 years, Gayle took a break running an own label. Now at the end of 2011 she is coming back with her new imprint GSR (Gayle San Recordings). GSR will be a homebase for Techno in all its different styles; from groovy Deeptechno, to Industrial dark sounds and straight forward techno. GSR represents Techno Music not just as one straight medium, but a road with many sideways, variations, colours, elements and influences. Techno in all its different styles is what you can expect on GSR.
With the new "Sunrise at..." compilation Plastic City enters the next chapter of super chilled deep tracks - this time compiled and mixed by Greg Parker. Greg Parker, who was big with his album release "10 Solutions" and his single "Get High", introduces a very balanced club mix between calm and impulsive Tech-House tracks. Greg who did his first steps in Tech-House at the record store Smoove Records and the club Room 106 chose only distinctive tracks to achieve a very personal mixture of sounds and characteristics. His three digital EP releases on Plastic City. Play "Dreams", "Drop Out" and "Understanding" have been remarkably sucessful. Greg, who worked together with his friend Terry Lee Brown Junior and remixed artists like Babak Shayan, Alex Flatner, Smalltown Collective, The Timewriter or Tojami Sessions, fabricates an unmistakable Baleraric feeling created through his fingers on the mixer. For this compilation, Greg Parker chose tracks from Dejan Milicevic, MSMS, Strict Border, Kreon, Bucher & Kessidis, Dzeta N Basile, The Timewriter or Aki Bergen... just to name a few. "Sunrise at Aguas Blancas" merges all the feelings that could arise when spending a night at this beach.
Driving Forces Labelnights available
Driving Forces Recordings is an underground based Austrian Technolabel founded by Sutter Cane, Mark Domine and The Spell. State of the art and far beyond, without missing the roots and the spirit
of Techno music, that's the sound of Driving Forces Recordings.
Modern Techno for the peaktime is what you get and let's you forget the hype about short life electronic music. Next to the Austrian local heroes, some big names of the international Techno
circus were signed and so a good and diversified start of the label was programmed.
After an amazing year 2009 with fantastic and heavy supported releases by Eric Sneo, Chris Hope & Andre Walter and Virgil Enzinger, the label was ready for another awesome year full of wicked
releases.

You can not talk about Tech-House without mentioning the name Terry Lee Brown Junior. For the pretty long time of 12 years, Terry is an electronic music artist. He used every year to improve his sounds, his arrangements and his unique flavour. If you are listening to his new Album "Labyrinth" on Plastic City, you can feel every single heartbeat, every single thought, he has invested in his work. Terry Lee Brown Junior is not one of those artists, who are adding one simple beat to another, he is that type of producer, who opens his heart to his audience, adding all his passion and love to his compositions. But Terry Lee Brown Junior is not only a respected producer, he is also a much sought-after DJ. This side of the artist is apparent when one listens to the compilation series Terry's Café or to this special DJ-Mix he did exclusively for Germanys No. 1 magazine for electronic music Raveline.
Labyrinth
The pioneer of Tech-House Terry Lee Brown Junior is back on Plastic City with his new album. Terry Lee Brown created “Labyrinth” while he released two remix albums of his tracks, two episodes of the “Terry's Café” compilation series, three MP3 EP's (the latest called “Electric Avenue” released this year), travelled around the globe playing DJ gigs at the biggest festivals and famous clubs. “Labyrinth” truly is the next masterpiece of Terry Lee Brown Junior. His productions are always very accurate, the interplay of moods, sounds and emotions is functional an sexy, well concidered and perfectly restaged.
As a special giveaway to his fans Terry Lee Brown and german magazine Raveline offers a free download DJ Mix by Terry on Raveline.de.

Gayle San and Sven Wittekind
What happens if two of the worlds most popular Techno DJs team up?
It all started when they played at a party together and they ended up playing back2back the whole night. Now Gayle San and Sven Wittekind are working on their album to be released early next year.
At this year’s NATURE ONE it was absolutely smashing on the Abstract Floor: Gayle San and Sven Wittekind teaming up on 4 Decks and 2 Mixers was not just an one-off. With together more than twenty years of combined experience on stage and behind decks as well as their explosive mixture of groovy techno beats, this team surely will be seen playing together more next year.
They are playing the Pulse Club in Toledo (Spain) in november and in January 2011 they are booked for an exclusive back2back Set at the one and only AWAKENINGS Festival in
Holland.
in cooperation with Abstract Booking
Terry Lee Brown Junior and Plastic City wanted to do something different this year and decided to release a double CD package with two different tech house styles: Mild Roast and Strong Roast – Mild Roast for pleasure and Strong Roast for character.
In the Mild Roast Dj mix Terry presents gentle tracks with the right flavor it needs to work on the dancefloor too. Effected by a joyfully looseness the mix swings between breezy fulfillment and jazzy liberality. Therefore tracks by Paralelles, Tini, Aland Byallo, J. Axel, Aki Bergen, Basti Pieper, Kruse & Nuernberg, Gorge, Tojami Sessions, Greg Parker, The Timewriter, Lukas Greenberg feat. Nica Brooke and Martin Buttrich give their best. Terry Lee Brown Junior created a well balanced Dj mix that is as agile and clever like a cat.
The Strong Roast Dj mix goes straight forward right from the beginning. It enfolds its rich aroma a bit more with every tune and ends in a culmination of different ingredients. The tracks by Krogmann, Fog, Smalltown Collective, Carlo, Chopstick & Johnjon feat. Fritz Kalkbrenner, Basti Pieper, Sami Wentz, Fapples, Addex, Steve Lawler, Gene, Helmut Dubnitzky and Fred Hush have enough personality to create a really special mood controlled by the hands of Terry Lee Brown Junior.
So the new episode of Terry's Café is another highlight on Plastic City this summer.
Space DJz
There are few Djz and producers in the modern techno world who can truly claim to have pioneered a style and sound, and call it their own. Such statements are often declared, but rarely justified. In the case of Ben Long and Jamie Bissmire, the names behind the revered Space DJz this claim would be unarguable.
2010 saw the Space Djz turn up the heat on their production schedule to the max, with the massive Yupplegums Ep on Ortin Cams Roots label, 20 Million Miles to `Earth Ep on Naked Lunch
and releases for Kombination Research , Noobish, Jackstar, Equator, Cannibal Society, Beta mechanical, Planet Rhythm there really was no stopping them, with an album / Dj mix and plenty of
collabs in the making, 2011 is set to be another bumber year for the worlds longest running techno tag team.
With sell out gigz at Ministry of Sound - Malta, Summer Spirit - Germany, Hard Park Factory - Italy, Pig fest - Cz Republic, Photonic Fusion - Slovenia, Toxicator - Germany + the usual
world wide club escapades during the 2010 season while many a Dj went by the wayside it was business as normal for the DJz.
Having now fully converted their Dj ing over to NI Traktor for 2010 this has evolved their legendary 4 x 2 set into 8 x 2. As if things couldn't get any more hectic i hear you say ?
Well they can " Traktor now give's us the power to take Djing as an art form to a new level, dropping any tune at any time and fulfill our desire to rock the house with no musical
boundaries taking in our wealth of experience from 20 years + of Dj ing"
Greg Parker "10 solutions"
Actually, it was long overdue: The first own album of Greg Parker, who has always had his home at Plastic City. Everything begun with his friendship to Terry Lee Brown Junior, who brought him to produce own tracks. At this time, Greg Parker was already a local hero in and around Darmstadt and inspired his followers with intense and deep Tech-house sets. In 2006 he co-produced the Terry Lee Brown Junior track "I Feel Lost" which found was released on Terry's Album "Karambolage". Since then, the tracks by Greg Parker get an enormous popularity. Be it on vinyl (2009 with the great "All The Good Things EP" and the three digital EP's "Dreams", "Drop Out" and "Understanding" on the sub-label Plastic City. Play), on compilations such as "Plastic City Radio Show, Season Two","Terry's Café" or "Zurich Session" or as a remixer for Terry Lee Brown Junior, The Timewriter, nor elle, Smalltown Collective or modified Tojami Sessions. Greg Parker also experimented very successfully with Terry Lee Brown Junior in the fields of electronica, dub, lounge and as the remix team "Elephants And Lollipops" (for example for the track "Alex Flatner feat. Lopazz - Perfect Circles" on Circle Music). At the latest it should be clear here: The creative output is based on a source of inspirational creativity.
