New The Timewriter Album "Tiefenschön" coming end of march

Being the sixth album from Jean F. Cochois, this latest one is a fresh surprise in many ways.  First and foremost, he has chosen the German title “Tiefenschön”, wich could be translated as 'beautiful depth', but really it is a more poetic way of saying that in the German language.  Secondly, he has positioned himself in an altogether different way on a musical basis but still continues in his unmistakeable Timewriter style, and once again proves as a producer his fine feeling for sound and musical arrangement.

After a long musical journey beginning in 1994 with his first single and subsequent albums, he now melts together his continuously developing sound with the sound of the good old days.  The results are deep and tech house tracks which have a warm old school twist and flavour to them at the same time as totally hitting the zeitgeist.

Although there are vocals being used in parts of this album, they have nothing in common with typically known vocal house tracks containing verses and choruses.  It’s mostly a maximum of four lines being repeated and used in a very rhythmic and hypnotic way.

In the cracking intro “Einatmen”,The Timewriter opens with the words “In the beginning there was nothing but a sweet sound - so tiefenschön” followed by “Broken Spell” which brings back the vocals of the incomparable Theresa Baltimore who has already featured on The Timewriter’s Club Classics “Reachin’ Out” and “Lion Steps”. Also Ven Lizard, a new Vocalist, features on the very pushy deep house gem “Ten Strut” riding on the track like thunder with a repeating fourliner.

Tiefenschön as an LP is a complete whirlwind having a raw and dirty feel to it, albeit without losing focus on the original and well-known Jean F. Cochois sound.  This is an extremely strong club album with a powerful recognition value – not only musically, but also visually thanks to its album cover.

It stands out as it has an overall concept and, throughout it, a sense of continuity from beginning to end.

For 11 days, worlds biggest radiostations for electronic music, Radio Sunshine live will host more then 200 DJs from all over the world.

Gayle San will be playing on christmas, december 25th from 12pm till 2pm (cet).

The King Kamehameha Club on the creative mile in Frankfurt, Hanauer Landstraße, laid the foundation for the international brand, “King Kamehameha“. International stars including Jade Jagger and Bryan Ferry, top DJs such as Roger Sanchez and Mousse T. and international leading labels like Hed Kandi and Defected have provided continuous impetus in developing a groundbreaking club culture. 

The former boiler house in a brewery provides breathtaking scenery for the King Kamehameha Club.

Evolution is the currently most popular houseevent  at the Club and on january 22nd they will invite Terry Lee Brown and The Timewriter to host the night. 

That night will also be the dawn of a new regular clubnight in this unique location. Terry Lee Brown junior and The Timewriter will then beginn their own night "Gold Werk Nächte", coming every 8 weeks. Thinking outside the box LAUTLEISE (English: loud quiet) celebrates electronic music, which moves the heart and the dancing legs. The genre is an electronically flat tech house beat that can be traced back to the origin in Mannheim Milk Club in the early 1990’s. This type of music developed as the fascination and enthusiasm grew. After a few years this

music has been viewed by some in different ways.

Some follow the passion of the melodiously house rhythms while others are more dedicated to the hard-driving techno sounds. At the end of 2005 LAUTLEISE was launched! They combine the interplay of different styles of music with current sounds. This combination of sounds is what their sets are made of and differentiates them from others! Sometimes it is electronically, then minimal. Sometimes it's hard, then melodic. Sometimes it is LOUD, then again QUIET....

Besides a regular LAUTLEISE night at the legendary LOFT CLUB in Ludwigshafen (Germany) they always play live at their own show called LAUTLEISE ROXX U! on Radio Sunshine Live every first Sunday in the month 5 - 7 pm!

The two will put their own record label “audioschall” on the market at the beginning of 2010 in cooperation with Peter Latino (Frankfurt, Resident U60311 Club Frankfurt), George Perry (Frankfurt, DJ worldwide since 25 years) and Jochen Weser (powwmusic.de).

In 2007 'Evil' Eddie Richards formed the 'Imagination Of The Shape'. Now, two years later, it is Greg Parker who proclaims the next step with a mix of the current label spectrum. The ideas the imagination contained seem to materialize out of the matrix of ones and zeros. The annulment of physical bodies is finished and a new composition of shapes arises from the phase in which information transcended the limits of mechanical structures. It is time for getting more concrete in what we do and how we will do it. For this it is important to have a conception to rebuild the city (again).

For this habitant Greg Parker, who was big with the 'All Good Things EP' and mixed the 'Deep Meltdown' compilation, compiled a very delicious selection of the current labels spectrum. Tracks by Mr. Cenzo, Terry Lee Brown Junior, Nacho Marco, Costa Nosido, The Timewriter, Roberto Rodriguez, Stryke and other will take all the rotten feelings and lift them up into the sky. And what is fascinating: It will ground you through action. The future is now. The future is Plastic City!

Lukas Greenberg - Prisoner with a key out now

With his first album “Rhode Stories” Lukas Greenberg received a lot of attention and convinced the critics (e.g. “Rhode Stories” was record of the month in Raveline). The mixture of house, easy listening, electro and downbeat combined with soulful vocals and spoken words opened a new chapter of a soothing and at the same time uplifting quality of sound for Plastic City. Rich and solid, emotional and light were the tracks with a touch of naturalism.

For the new longplayer “Prisoner With A Key” Lukas aka Nikolas Jakoby uses the same concept like he did with “Rhode Stories”: Spreading out his facilities in combining and creating sounds he is writing chapters for his new book of sound. The chronological order of the tracks is well thought.

For the record Lukas worked together with singer and electronic musician Karl Jenkins aka Ideophonic from Great Britain, who was also part of the “Rhode Stories” production process. Furthermore he engaged vocalist Nica Brooke, who is working on her new album at the moment with Grammy Award winner Don Mizell at the moment, to gave her voice to a few tracks.

The result is this great combination of warm, bright and tight tracks we are inclined to call album art. Because this a real album, a new masterpiece quoting jazz, funk and soul to put that old fashioned styles into a new and electronic surrounding.

This album is a must have for everybody who does not want to miss the next step of high quality electronic music: intelligent, complex and absolutely deep!
